Welcome to Just Vehicle Inspections. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and the services we provide, including vehicle inspections, vehicle sourcing, and new vehicle purchasing assistance. By booking a service or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Who We Are
Just Vehicle Inspections (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides mobile pre-purchase vehicle inspection services, vehicle sourcing, and new vehicle purchasing assistance across Melbourne.
Nature of Our Services
- Our inspections are visual diagnostic, and road-test based assessments carried out at the time of inspection (cursory only) They reflect the vehicle’s condition on that date and do not guarantee future performance or reliability.
- Our reports are provided as an independent opinion to assist your purchasing decision. They are not a warranty nor guarantee.
- Diagnostic scans rely on the vehicle’s onboard computer system and available fault code data. Undetected or intermittent faults may not always be identifiable at the time of inspection however all care is taken at the time.
- We do not disassemble any part of the vehicle, and inspections do not include areas that are inaccessible without specialised equipment or authorisation from the vehicle owner or seller to dismantle.
Booking and Payment
- Bookings can be made via phone, email, or our website contact form.
- Strictly, full payment of quoted fee is required prior to any inspection.
- We accept only BPAY as payment prior to any inspection.
Cancellations and Refunds
- We ask that cancellations or rescheduling requests be made with as much notice as possible at least 24 hours before the scheduled inspection to avoid a late fee
- Cancellations made with reasonable notice will not incur a fee. Late cancellations, or failure to provide access or a no show to the vehicle at the agreed time will incur no refund nor a credit.
- Refunds are not provided once an inspection has been carried out and a report has been issued, as the service has been fully rendered.
Limitation of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Just Vehicle Inspections is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from reliance on an inspection report, including but not limited to loss arising from decisions to purchase or not purchase a vehicle.
- Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the relevant service, except where liability cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Vehicle Sourcing and New Vehicle Purchasing Services
- Vehicle sourcing and purchasing assistance services are provided on a best-efforts basis. We do not guarantee the availability, price, or condition of any vehicle sourced on a client’s behalf.
- Final purchasing decisions remain the sole responsibility of the client.
Third-Party Vehicles and Access
Our services depend on reasonable access to the vehicle, granted by the seller or vehicle owner. We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, or incomplete inspections resulting from restricted access.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and reports, is the property of Just Vehicle Inspections unless otherwise stated, and may not be reproduced without prior written consent.
Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as outlined there.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
